Lost soul

The young girl flutters her eyes open in the morning. She says melancholy "Still crying while sleeping". She walks up to the mirror to see herself as a mess. Looking at the stains of tears on her face, she recalls that ill-fated day when her family met an untimely demise and she survived. She remembers her brother's final words "Luna, live". She remembers her brother's face vivid yet distorted with time.

As she left for school, she was greeted by her friend Liora who wore a radiant smile and has a personality stark contrast to Luna's somber demeanor. She is girl with a bright smile and warmth. She radiates good vibes, helpful, kind yet smart in her own rights. She says "Long time no see Luna". Luna replied "Hi, Liora" reluctantly. Liora understood Luna far too well because of her innate talent of understanding others' emotions and feelings. That is why she persisted in helping Luna alter her perspective on the world, determined to shatter the oppressive chains of the past that dragged Luna into a vast sea of despair.
