1. What we use

NovelCraft uses cookies and similar storage on your device. Some are required for the site to work. Others (analytics) run only if you accept them on the cookie banner. Details of personal data sit in the Privacy Policy.

2. Essential cookies

These are necessary for the Service. The site cannot sign you in or stay secure without them.

• Session cookies (NextAuth) — keep you signed in. They last for the session or until the login expires.
• Cookie consent record (novelcraft-cookie-consent) — remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, for up to 12 months.
• Security cookies — CSRF and similar protections on forms.

3. Analytics cookies (consent)

If you click Accept on the banner, we may load Google Analytics and similar measurement tools to understand aggregated traffic. If you click Decline, those scripts are not loaded.

You can change your mind by clearing site data for https://www.novelcraft.ai or deleting novelcraft-cookie-consent in your browser; the banner will appear again.

4. Payments

When you subscribe, we send you to Stripe Checkout. Paid plans use Stripe Managed Payments, so checkout, receipts and order tools also use Link. Stripe and Link set their own cookies on stripe.com and link.com. Those cookies are theirs; see Stripe’s and Link’s privacy documentation.

5. How to manage cookies

Browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies will prevent sign-in. For EU/UK users, declining analytics is enough; we do not require analytics to use the product.
