Public author profiles and social sharing

Two features ship today that make it easier to put your work in front of readers: public author profiles and share buttons on every published book and profile page.

Your author page: novelcraft.ai/u/you

Every writer can claim a unique username and get a public page: display name, bio, portrait and a shelf of every book you have published. It is the link for a social bio, an email signature or a portfolio.

• A username of your own. Claim a handle; your profile lives at novelcraft.ai/u/yourname.
• An author bio. Up to 500 characters to tell readers who is behind the books.
• Your published books. Covers, ratings and word counts for everything you have made public.
• Opt-in, always. The page goes live only when you claim a username, and comes down when you release it.

Author names across the community pages are links now. When a reader finishes a book they like, everything else that author published is one click away.

Share it anywhere

Public book pages and author profiles carry share buttons for X, Facebook, LinkedIn and WhatsApp, plus copy-link — and on a phone, the device’s own share sheet. Links preview properly: each book and profile generates its own social image with the cover, title, author and stats.

How to set it up

1. Open Settings from the Menu drawer.
2. Claim a handle in the Public profile section; availability is checked as you type.
3. Add up to 500 characters about you and your work.
4. Share the link: your page is live at novelcraft.ai/u/your-username.
